Finally KTM dealerships has started accepting the bookings of the much awaited Duke 790 street-fighter in India. You can book the new Duke 790 by paying a token amount of ₹ 30,000/- at select outlets while deliveries will commence in the first half of 2019. The final price of the new Duke is still unknown but it will be declared on a later date, and if you feel that the price of the Duke is not within your budget you can withdraw your booking amount.
With this new addition in the family, the KTM will now have a vast range of motorcycles in their stable, starting from 125 CC bike to 799 CC bike (in India), with 125 CC being already officially launched in India. The new Duke 790 is drool worthy and will add more fire power to the already powerful stable of KTM. Those who wants to upgrade from Duke 390, this offering from KTM will be the best option.
We are not sure whether the Duke 790 will arrive in India as a completely built-up unit (CBU) or as a knocked down (CKD) model, but reports do suggest that the latter might be the case. But we are pretty sure that the bike will be locally assembled at the Bajaj-KTM facility in Chakan, Maharashtra. The expected price of the new Duke is from ₹ 7 Lakhs to ₹ 8 Lakhs, which would be a very competitive price.
